prague in b+w: one more castle and one more bridge is going to kill me

a moment of epiphany where the cloud cover breaks over the prague castle.
(just avoid them tourists!)

i must be one of the last on exchange in europe to see prague, so everyone else would already have seen what i saw, the prague castle and charles bridge in varying degrees of sunlight. the capital of the czech republic is indeed amazingly pretty. it sure capitalises on its beauty i kid you not.

its stuffed with tourists, everyone armed with their parasols and canons (the japs) and samsungs (the koreans). i hardly really saw any locals about, save for very rude service staff. its deplorable i tell you, service in prague. i was in a first-rate pissed off mood at the end of my first night in prague because i wanted to squeeze the necks of 2 separate waiters who treated us so terribly.

prague tourism ministry, you better go do something about it.

still, prague gives me amazing pictures, here they are:
someone tell me how to differentiate baroque, gothic, neo-gothic, art noveau and renaissance (and neo-renaissance too) please. i cant, for the life of me.

we come all the way to prague castle just so that ian can sleep on its benches.

so is this gothic/renaissance/artnoveau or not?

outside the cathedral within the prague castle.

i am 1/4, 1/4, 1/2 of the statement above.

a view from the church tower. one of the more suffocating church climbs because its not only narrow and dark, its filled with smelly sweating children.

terri was there (at prague castle).

a sillouhette (i think ive spelt it wrongly, someone help) of the old town.

ayu and ian

i like pouncing on random strangers and taking their profiles.

one of me

one of ayu

jazz on the bridge! tres shiok!
