yo ho ho! its prague and bratislavia for me!
so its fjord-hopping in oslo and bergen (home to kings of convenience ! -skips-) this weekend, probably the last and final unconquered scandinavian country.
hmm, it is the last and final one! anyway, i will be going to prague and bratislavia and i will not be travelling solo because i have found a travel buddy!

but travelling solo is something that's always at the back of my mind, and i would really want to do it one day, when i recoup all my parent's money, that is. i was seriously considering the option when it seemed less and less possible that people would join me, because of final semester exams. and also rationalising to myself that its part of my 'personal growth' and 'self discovery process', which are pretty much rubbish. well, anything to make it better sounding to the parents. which of course didnt work, because before i could even start on my rationale, mom and dad were like "no prague no bratislavia solo, because you are going to make us sick with worry".
so case closed.
but thank God that ive managed to find ayu, who's keen on heading to eastern europe with me, so im pretty relieved that i can still make some footprints over the czech republic and slovakia. too bad for slovenia though. i tried very hard to find ways and means to get there and back. fyi for those thinking of heading to ljub-i can finally spell it correctly-ljana', the only planes heading there are from london-stn and brussels-charleroi and its a 12hr train ride from prague to ljubby. phooey.
nevermind. one summer's day i will do the adriatic countries (italy, croatia, slovenia) in one fell swoop.

Terri! I found info about Slovak Visa (will cost me around 260dkk though), so we WILL GO together, but promise me that we will travel as super cheapos traveller, hahaha.
