a very trying semester
someone just shoot me. twice over. WHY AM I TAKING WTO AND COMPARATIVE COMMERCIAL LAW THIS SEMESTER TOGETHER?! (yells)
its suicide.
BOTH have a ton of readings to be done.
BOTH have readings that are not necessarily easy to understand.
BOTH have teachers you just want to do nasty things to. like poke their eyes out.
geeeeez.
anyway, it looks like the worst of the violence on the streets of copenhagen are over, although protests are still regular at high traffic areas in the afternoon/evenings. at least friends living in the norrebro area havent been caught in the crossfire, thankgoodness for that. things have returned pretty much to normal, you wouldnt think that anything was happening in town judging from the peace and people going abt doing their normal things.
but it was really quite amusing how some people plastered 'jagtvej' ('vej' is pronounced 'vai' and means street in danish) all over the city's road signs today. my guess is that 'jagtvej' is the street where ungdomhuset (the building that got everyone heated up and then still kerna demolished) used to be, so in protest, everywhere's 'jagtvej' today.
copenhagen is just one BIG jagtvej. my appartment's on jagtvej, my school's on jagtvej, netto's on jagtvej...
but you got to give thumbs up those people who painstakingly went to plaster the roadsigns because its actually very neatly done, and they even got the correct font type! im a very anal person, so these things, i appreciate.
now if such thing happened in singapore, there'd be blood to pay.
