i think sam's post more than adequately describes our new apartment and that painstaking (understatement) process it took to finally secure a place.

a word of caution: in case you start drooling all over your keyboard, i suggest you cover it with some cloth, and keep sharp metal objects away from you lest you grab one and start hacking away at your screen out of pure green jealousy.
