i may actually be studying here.

after 2 days of consecutive real lessons, i do think im actually going to be studying on my exchange, AND enjoying it at the same time. for the record, im taking law of armed conflicts, intl env law, media law and a non-credit 4 day intro to eu course. env and armed conflicts are pretty intensive, occuring twice a week, 2hrs each. but its better than a straight 3 hrs each for the other two modules. im enjoying it because each class is enthusiastic to learn, filled with people from all over the globe, different accents and different attitudes to their education. its the whole multicultural thing that gives each class a groove and a beat which i cant find back home, even though singapore is er, multicultural. its also a plus point that there's adequate eye candy (tralalala) in each class. the downside is that class is smack in stroget, so shopping and going for class go hand in hand. its not bad, its just i need to keep my hands in my pocket and gulp as i gape longingly at very very very nice bags, shoes, clothes, accessories, cds, books, anything under the sun that catches my fancy. i need very badly to be thrifty.
