and EVEN MORE PICTURES!

yay! thank God for wireless connection here, even if its only valid for certain times of the day. here are more pictures from the last few weeks ive been here.

this is daniel's place where we spent the first sunday in denmark, slacking around and waiting for him to make out dinner. thats em and miriam both from aussie and they were playing some street fighter game thing. sam's victory whoop (denmark 0- singapore 1) against daniel. the 4 of us having a humongous lunch of a burger at frederiksberg alle on the of the frederiksberg cycle race. 50kr for a big-ass burger. one of the more value for kroner foods. and the rest are random pictures of the crowd.

the first few pictures are of me at the methodistkirkken (methodist church) at rigensgade. yes, the one with the african accapella worship. after that, sam and i headed off to the kastellet, a bastion which is currently still the base of some departments of the danish defence ministry. again, the weather was fantastic that day. after the kastellet, where a very nice danish jogger gave us a 5min crash course on danish defence history, we made it all the way to the little mermaid. so, we have officially 'been there, done that' in cph. the kastellet was one damn long walk, so halfway to the little mermaid, we gave in to icecream. thats my raspberry and blueberry sorbet you're looking at. and then we headed back to daniel's place.

i really think that my collage doesnt do justice to the quality of the pictures, it just doesnt show you everything! but it takes too long to upload, so i have to resort to this. :( boo.

thats me and dad in tivoli, where my dad finally gets to fufil his wish of visiting the renowned leisure gardens of copenhagen, and where it was rumored that walt disney got his idea for disney land while visiting tivoli. im just parroting what i read in the tourist news. it is pretty, and its really lots of very detailed landscaping and amusement rides packed into this little green space off radhuspladsen. its not that expensive to enter (75kr-15sing) but then you must pay for the individual rides, which i felt was kinda turn-offish. so we just walked around the place and had lunch at a pretty good cafe inside next to the lake, where there were all these lazy ducks (which seem to be leading the good life as much as the humans do here) paddling around the water. lunch was smorrebrod (the ultimate danish cuisine, and well, the only really true danish cuisine besides wieners) which was pretty good. especially my marinated herrings- only tricia wouldnt agree with me, if she's reading this.

well, 4 more pics of my living space. yes, thats pictures from home stuck to the side of the bed. awww shucks.
